Mountain Path – Temporary Daytime Closure

Please be advised that a portion of the Mountain Path will be temporarily closed between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., beginning March 5 through March 12, due to nearby construction activity.

The path will reopen at the end of each day and will remain accessible during the evening hours.

Upper Mountain Path – Reopened

We’re pleased to share that construction and trail improvement work on the Upper Mountain Path has been completed. The route connecting Cypress Village Pop-Up to the Trestle Bridge is now fully open.

Thank you for your patience during this period, and we invite you to enjoy the Mountain Path and the surrounding natural setting once again.

Construction Notice

Please be advised that controlled rock blasting is ongoing at a nearby construction site. This bedrock excavation complies with all relevant safety and municipal regulations, including West Vancouver Bylaw and WorkSafeBC requirements. Some noise and ground vibrations are normal during blasting.

Blasting warning signs:

• –   Multiple short horn blasts are followed by a 1–2-minute delay before blasting

• –   A single long horn blast indicates “all clear” after blasting

Groundbreaking

April 16, 2025 marks the official start of construction for Cypress Village. Site Preparation adjacent to the Pop-up and in the Upland Neighbourhood is underway as we work towards realizing West Vancouver’s next great Village centre.
